Literally from trash to treasure

Have you ever wondered what you could do with someone and then one day you have an Ah Ha moment? Well I certainly have had many of those moments. For years I would remove the cardboard roll off of the toilet paper holder and toss it in the garbage. I thought "thats such a  waste, surely something oh anything could be done to save all these empty rolls from the landfill graveyard". Then one day it came to me as I was trying to figure out how to use some other trinkets that i had accumulated. I had a silk flower that was broken from stem, a broken hair clasp and lots of glue. Hm what could i use as a base to make a cuff bracelet. Then it was that Ah Ha moment....I took a empty toilet roll and cut it painted it and started gluing. Its now one of my favorite pieces.....Now where did I stash all those empty rolls oh never mind soon I am certain in one of our 3 bathrooms another will come available. LOL...now I am outta here to begin anew!

  1. How very cute, I love it! I am also very crafty, I am created all the decorations for my sisters wedding the same, they were on a very tight budget and couldn't afford all the extra "bling" they really had hoped for, I using local thrift stores and craft stores, and things I already had, made all the things she they wanted at less then half the cost of the new! They were blown away with all I was able to do for them with the budget we had to work with, it turned out to be their dream wedding! Keep pushing on fellow crafter, cant wait to see more amazing ideas,,,,
